The March intention is that Christian souls may sacrifice themselves more generously.
Dear Crusaders and Friends,
One day when the great St Teresa of Avila was still very young, she left home with her little brother to go and give their lives to Jesus through martyrdom. Yes, they wanted to die for Jesus. They were soon discovered by their uncle and brought back.
No, Crusaders, you must not do the same, but, from this little event in the life of this great saint, we see how generous she was to Jesus. Now generosity, that is very important, and in that I certainly encourage you. This world is full of people who think only of themselves. How about a good resolution for Lent. Let us be extra generous to Jesus this year. Look at your treasure chart. If it is full you are generous, if its empty you are one of those who always say; Me, Myself and I. That is not a true Crusader. Ask Jesus and Mary that they help you to be very very generous.
