We commend to your prayers the repose of the soul of the Reverend Father Jean-Jacques Marziac, piously deceased this Sunday, January 9.

Born July 2, 1924 in Strasbourg and ordained a priest on February 11, 1954 for the African Missions in Lyon, he was a missionary in Côte d'Ivoire and Dahomey (Benin), before being expelled from his community for his traditional positions.

This led by Father Barrielle then founded at the Maison Saint-Joseph de Caussade the Community of Cooperators of Christ the King, who dispense the Exercises of Saint Ignatius according to the spirit and method of Father Vallet. He always remained a faithful support of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and of the Fraternity of Saint Pius X.

The funeral mass will be celebrated by Monsignor Bernard Tissier de Mallerais, this Wednesday, January 12, at 2:30 p.m., at the Maison Saint-Joseph de Caussade (82300).

May His Soul and all the Souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace.
