Feast of Our Lady of Compassion - Friday, 3 April, 2020
On April 3rd, the Priestly Society of St. Pius X will have the joy of celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Compassion for the first time in all our houses. This feast will take place this year under very special circumstances for us all. It is the ideal and providential moment to entrust the whole of the Society, and our families to the protection of Our Blessed Lady.
The priests of the Society will especially have the intention to ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to protect our entire spiritual family and to inspire us with the best decisions to take in these troubled times, so that the Society may come through this ordeal even stronger, and with a renewed apostolic zeal.
In each of our houses, all Society members will gather before the Blessed Sacrament and recite together the act of Consecration of the Society to the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
We encourage the faithful to also gather as a family and recite this consecration after the family Rosary on Friday. For those following the Live Stream Mass, the priest celebrating that Mass on Friday will recite the act of consecration after the Leonine prayers for those who wish to join in the consecration at that time.
